Physical Fitness Testing and Dress Code(Required)
Applicants for Quality Care Professionals of Georgia positions will be administered a basic physical fitness exam specifically designed to determine if the applicant possesses the physical strength, endurance, and agility required to assist QCPGA clients and patients.

The QCPGA Physical Efficiency Battery consists of four (4) components as follows:
• Sit and Reach (Flexibility test)
• Assisting training classmates with transfers from (chair/couch/bed & walking)
• Strength Test (Lifting Approx 50 lbs)
• Basic Writing, internet, cell phone, and computer skills

All employees will be required to wear clothing appropriate for the season. The following clothing is unacceptable: short dresses (above the knee) open shirts, in graphic/vulgar signature clothing, leggings, loose hanging jewelry, excessive long nails, but not limited to these examples. Acceptable: Scrubs Only, however, neat personal clothes are allowed in Companion Care and Elite Registered Nursing positions.

Quality Care Professionals of Georgia Qualification/Disqualification Policy
TO ALL APPLICANTS the following criteria are required minimum qualifications for certain positions applied for by applicants seeking employment with this agency.
This document also contains those criteria, which, if they apply to the applicant, would serve to disqualify the applicant from consideration for employment.

General Qualifications (Applies to ALL positions)
1. For all nursing positions, you must be 18 years of age, possess valid drivers license and have reliable transportation.
2. Clerical and administrative applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Applicants must be high school graduates or have an equivalency (G.E.D.) diploma.
4. Applicants who receive a conditional offer of employment will be required to pass a minimal comprehensive physical examination during class training.
5. Applicants must successfully complete a basic English Language speaking examination.
6. Applicants must successfully complete a specified drug screen.
7. Applicants must successfully complete a stringent background investigation.
Additional Qualifications (Apply to Registered Nursing positions only)
1. Registered Nurse applicants must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid nursing’s license.
2. QCPGA Elite Registered Nursing applicants must be at least 26 years of age/older, and must possess a valid driver’s license.
3. Applicants must successfully complete a basic written test, including psychological tests.
Disqualification or Rejection Policy
1. Any falsification of the employment application.
2. A conviction of felony offense or convictions of multiple misdemeanors.
3. Any past commitment or treatment for a serious mental or emotional disorder, which in QCPGA’s judgment, would pose a direct risk to the health or safety of the applicant, our clients or others. This would otherwise prevent the applicant from performing the basic job functions effectively.
4. Any discharge from military service, resulting in criminal/dishonorable discharge.
5. More than five (3) moving traffic violations in any 12-month period within the last three (3) years.
6. The current use, or use within the last year of any legally controlled drug, narcotic, or other substance, without the prescription of a licensed medical physician.
7. Failure to meet any scheduled appointment related to the hiring process, without notice and/or valid explanation.
8. Discovery of past unreported crimes.
9. Failure to successfully complete all elements of the QCPGA Physical Fitness Program.
Possible Disqualifications
Quality Care Professionals of Georgia
1. A conviction from a criminal offense involving the use of drugs or alcohol.
2. A demonstration that the applicant prescribes to a strong bias against groups based on sex, race, age or religion.
4. The demonstration of an unsafe, unstable or inconsistent employment record.
5. Any demonstration or indication of emotional instability, immaturity or irrational behavior.
6. A record or demonstration of poor management of personal finances.
