FAQ

ARE YOUR HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONALS CERTIFIED?

Yes, all of our care professionals are required to have all state certifications and/ or licenses. Some of our care professionals have security clearances for high-profile clients. We require our staff to sign a confidentiality agreement.

WHAT SHOULD I CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A HOME HEALTH CARE PROVIDER?

A few adjectives we believe should exist in all health care professionals should be. Professional, Dependable, Reliable, Patience, Trustworthy, and Empathetic. The ongoing training provided to the care professional by the organization is extremely important.

Our nurses are all humbled and easily exhibit southern comfortable in-home presence. We hold no biases against anyone’s religious, cultural, sexual, racial, or political positions. Our motto is, “respect and freedom of choice goes a long way.” We conduct ongoing mandatory healthcare updates, trainings, and complete healthcare checkups with all of our nurses to assure no one becomes overworked/burnt out, and remains knowledgeably current in the care they’re administering. These are extremely important things to consider when choosing healthcare providers.

DO YOU PROVIDE FREE CONSULTATIONS BEFORE WE DECIDE ON A HOME CARE PROFESSIONAL?

Yes, we at QCPGA will discuss care options and patient expectations, and if needed we will evaluate your insurance plan in order to maximize your benefits. All initial Medical and Psychological evaluations are a part of our new patient enrollment process.

WHAT CAN OR SHOULD YOU DO TO BEGIN THE CAREGIVER SEEKING PROCESS?

First. Start a respectful conversation with your loved ones before a crisis about their wishes for home health care, their preferences, values, and finances. If your loved one refuses to discuss these things, you may anticipate a crisis at some point and have to plan from there.

Second. Find a team of family members, friends, or colleagues who may share your concerns about your loved ones. If possible, try not to approach this alone. If their schedules are too busy, by all means give us a call at 470-795-1487 [email protected]

Third. Make a caregiving plan with your loved one(s) if a need for one arises. Having a plan can give you and your loved ones a peace of mind. If you need assistance planning, contact: 470-795-1487 [email protected]

Fourth. Take care of yourself by anticipating (when possible) the physical, emotional, and financial demands of caregiving. If you’re overwhelmed, give us a call at 470-795-1487 or [email protected]

Fifth. Find support for yourself. Caregiving can be stressful if not properly trained. Think about your own aging and communicate your wishes, hopes (and possibe finances) to people who will be concerned about you, well ahead of any crisis. If you need help, call us at  470-795-1487 or [email protected]
